چکیده
This article examines the work of Shirley Kaneda, Korean-Japanese American artist. It discusses various paintings from Kaneda’s output, both 1990s and last six years, in order to draw out her concerns intentions. In this light it also explores statements articles interviews thinking through intertwining theoretical painterly concerns. moves context early Conceptual Abstraction exhibition 1991 at Sidney Janis Gallery New York, actual form procedures that implements. متن کاملOptimal carbon tax doubled
Typically, cost–benefit analysis (CBA) has suggested ‘optimal’ carbon tax regimes that result in a global temperature rise of around 3 °C, or even eventually (post-2100) 4 °C, above preindustrial levels. However, risk analysis approaches indicate that these levels of temperature rise result in climate change impacts that pose a high or very high level of risk to society and ecosystems1 (Fig. 1)...
متن کاملHamilton cycles in prisms
The prism over a graph G is the Cartesian product G2K2 of G with the complete graph K2. If G is hamiltonian, then G2K2 is also hamiltonian but the converse does not hold in general. Having a hamiltonian prism is shown to be an interesting relaxation of being hamiltonian. In this paper, we examine classical problems on hamiltonicity of graphs in the context of having a hamiltonian prism. c © ???...
متن کاملMechanics of Tensegrity Prisms
Tensegrity prisms are three-dimensional self-stressing cable systems with a relatively small number of disjoint compression members, invented by Buckminster Fuller. They form novel structural geometries and they constitute a class of mechanisms which have not been previously studied for possible application as variable geometry truss (VGT) manipulators. They have a number of seemingly advantage...
